The Florida African-American Heritage Celebration is scheduled each year on the last Saturday in February. This day-long celebration of African-American culture includes workshops and performances of traditional African music and dance, storytelling, ethnic food, and historic presentations. The Museum adds elements of African-American art through lectures, videos, docent-led tours, and hands-on children's art activities.
